Sittwe – November 30, 2005: According to firmly sources from Sittwe ( capital city of Rakhine region ), at the present time petroleum per gallium rate is 7000 Kyat. In the result of that ice factories, refrigerators for cooling shrimp, fishing boats etc like almost had to closed down or stopped in Sittwe, Rakhine region, Burma.
For the matter of facing with like that situation, neither owner of factories (like combine shares –6, Shwe Tharawan and Shwe Yamun factories) and boats have maintained their workers nor taken responsibilities for compensations of them (workers).
In the reason of that unemployment rate have gone sky rocketed in Rakhine region in Burma and people are extremely facing with scarcity shortage of food in like quarters of Bying Pru Rwa, Doe Wann Rwa, Kathey Rwa, ect in Sittwe.
According to firm sources from Sittwe, some how standard of per Kg rice rate is at 350 Kyat and lower standard of per Kg rice rate is at 300 Kyat, at the present time.
On the other hand, only dim light electricity is being provided by authority of Sittwe at the position of only 6 pm to 9 pm in Sittwe, Rakhine region, Burma, like that people of Rakhine ( Arakan ) region are extremely suffering in inhuman being, accordance to firm sources from Sittwe.
