Sittwe - January 1, 2006: According to firm sources from Sittwe (capital city of Rakhine (Arakan ) state in Burma), on yesterday 31st December, 2005, Arakanese (Rakhie Buddhist) people have been wandering Buddhist temples including famous Big Buddhist temple ( located in central of Sittwe), U Ray Kyaw Thu temple (located northeastern side of Sittwe) and have been letting 221 candles as clandestinely held for 221st their Anniversary Downfall Day of Arakan Sovereignty.
And plain cloth Burmese military intelligence also have been wandering and watching the activities of the Arakanese people of Sittwe, according to firm sources.
Arakan had been their own sovereignty country since BC 3326 to AD 1784 like other nations in the world, accordance to Rakhine (Arakan) history.
